About the role

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead the Croatian branch of a reputable family‑owned German company. The role combines full P&L responsibility with strategic oversight of sales, technical service, and logistics, ensuring sustainable growth and operational stability.

Key responsibilities

• Own the profit and loss statement for the Croatian branch, driving financial performance.
• Directly manage and coach the commercial team, shaping market presence and sales strategy.
• Supervise daily operations across Sales, Technical Service/Equipment Maintenance, and Logistics/Warehouse.
• Build and maintain long‑term, high‑trust relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely and transparently with the German headquarters and owners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in B2B sales or commercial roles.
• Proven track record in leading teams or running a local branch/subsidiary (SME background).
• Fluent English; German at B2 level or higher is a strong advantage.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
