About the role

The company is looking for a motivated cook (male/female) to join its kitchen team in Zagreb. You will be responsible for preparing dishes according to internal recipes, ensuring food safety and supporting the overall kitchen operation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all stages of dish preparation following internal standards and recipes.
• Manage mise en place to guarantee stable operational delivery.
• Cook and plate dishes while strictly applying HACCP procedures.
• Maintain food quality, visual presentation, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor health‑hygiene standards, expiry dates and ingredient integrity.
• Document and escalate any operational deviations promptly.
• Communicate dynamically with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth order flow.
• Support knowledge transfer and assist new team members.
• Use kitchen equipment responsibly and contribute to waste reduction.
• Keep the workstation clean and follow daily cleaning protocols.
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen tools when required.
• Record HACCP documentation and participate in menu development as needed.
