About the role
We are looking for an independent accountant to join our accounting service in Karlovac. The role involves handling the full accounting cycle, payroll, VAT calculations, tax filings and the preparation of annual financial statements for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Record and post all financial documentation accurately.
- Calculate payroll, fees and VAT obligations.
- Prepare tax returns and annual financial reports.
- Communicate with clients, tax authorities and internal colleagues.
- Maintain organized and consistent work processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in accounting with strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
- Resourceful, courteous and able to interact effectively with clients and institutions.
- Team‑oriented mindset and collegial attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency in the Synesis accounting software.
