About the role

We are expanding our team and are looking for an à la carte waiter and sommelier to join our restaurant in Zagreb. The successful candidate will deliver warm, courteous, and professional service while showcasing a deep understanding of wine culture and Mediterranean cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Recommend and serve wines, explaining pairings and wine characteristics.
• Maintain knowledge of Mediterranean dishes, including meat and fish specialties.
• Work independently while collaborating with kitchen and floor staff.
• Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an à la carte waiter in a restaurant setting.
• Strong familiarity with Mediterranean cuisine and a solid understanding of wine and wine culture.
• Professional, courteous attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Highly organized, responsible, and capable of working autonomously.
• Team‑player mindset with a desire to improve service quality.
