About the role

We are looking for a dedicated machine operator (Strojar dorade) to join our production team in Zagreb. The role involves handling various finishing machines, ensuring quality, safety and proper documentation throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders with the required documentation.
• Prepare the machine for the specific operation and all finishing phases.
• Gather and set up all necessary tools and materials.
• Perform quality and quantity control during machine operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any disturbances.
• Complete and sign all required documentation.
• Clean and lubricate the machine.
• Manage tool borrowing and maintain tool registers.
• Verify machine functionality and safety mechanisms before starting work; no unauthorized modifications.
• Stop the machine and inform the supervisor in case of a fault.
• Ensure overall machine correctness.
• Supervise the production worker’s work and take responsibility for it.
• Check all safety mechanisms of the machine.
• Ensure quality assurance.
• Report work to the production department manager.

Required skills

• Experience with finishing machines such as araka sewing machine, araka plasticizing machine, araka bending machine, and binding machine.
