Technical Consultant (SQL)

About the role

SD Worx Croatia is seeking a Technical Consultant (SQL) to join its HRnet team in Zagreb. You will combine strong SQL expertise with a consultative mindset to design, implement and optimise database solutions that support HR, payroll and workforce management processes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain technical solutions within the HRnet application.
• Create and optimise SQL procedures, scripts and database objects using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Support system integrations and data‑migration projects for new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with developers, consultants and business analysts to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and support phases.
• Communicate with clients to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.

Required profile

• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Strong SQL and database development capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in both Croatian and English.
• Proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
