Senior Software Engineer

About the role

At Cenosco we develop asset integrity management software for the oil & gas, chemicals and energy sectors. As we expand AI‑powered capabilities, we are looking for a senior engineer who can build intelligent backend features while delivering clean, scalable code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship high‑quality backend features on our modern SaaS platform using C#/.NET.
• Contribute to system architecture, code reviews and AI‑driven product experiences, including LLM integrations and data‑centric workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design and the broader engineering team to translate requirements into robust implementations.
• Integrate AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) into the development workflow and promote best practices.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise products.
• Strong backend background with professional C#/.NET expertise.
• Experience building AI‑powered features or integrating LLM services.
• Proficiency with relational databases and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and modern engineering practices.
