Risk Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Risk Data Analyst to join our credit risk team in Zagreb. You will work closely with IT and business units to ensure high‑quality risk data and deliver actionable insights that support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and validate risk data, proposing improvements for accuracy, reliability and usefulness.
• Develop new data sources and enhance existing databases, models and analytical solutions.
• Analyze large data sets to extract trends, patterns and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to align data, algorithms and processes with credit‑risk management needs.
• Automate and optimise reporting, creating clear visualisations of key risk indicators.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging data‑analysis tools and share knowledge across the department.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• Strong ability to work with large data sets and turn them into clear, actionable insights.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity and a desire to understand the reasons behind data patterns.
• Experience in analytics, risk modelling or the financial sector is a plus.
• Proactive, responsible, team‑oriented with good communication skills.
• Fluent English.
