Data Engineer

About the role

We turn massive amounts of data into products our clients actually use. As a Data Engineer you will own the data journey, extracting data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy, and storing it securely while tackling challenging engineering problems as part of a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean Python code to move data from source systems to storage.
• Design and structure data using relational and NoSQL databases in our stack.
• Monitor data pipelines, detect failures early, and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement security controls to lock down data access.
• Research and evaluate new data tools to continuously improve the platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience building data pipelines and understanding ETL/ELT workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Systematic problem‑solving approach and good time management.
• Fluent written and spoken English; strong Croatian language skills.
