About the role

The Deputy Branch Manager supports the store manager in leading a busy Kaufland supermarket in Nova Gradiška. You will help drive team performance, ensure smooth operations and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of approximately 20 colleagues.
• Plan work schedules efficiently and oversee productive sector performance.
• Ensure all sector processes are executed flawlessly.
• Support the store manager and assume their duties during absences.
• Mentor staff in daily tasks and foster their professional development.
• Collaborate with the co‑deputy manager to reach shared objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education and at least one year of retail experience.
• Proven ability to lead a larger team is a strong advantage.
• Motivated, results‑oriented and able to build good relationships with colleagues.
• Preferably knowledgeable about food and non‑food product ranges.
• Team‑player ready to cooperate for common goals.
