About the role

MAR d.o.o. is expanding its vehicle fleet and seeks an experienced, organized professional to take a leading role in managing the entire fleet, which includes passenger cars, vans, trucks and construction machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically manage the fleet (vehicles and construction equipment).
• Plan and propose acquisition of new vehicles and machinery.
• Negotiate with vehicle suppliers, authorized service centers, insurers and leasing companies.
• Monitor total fleet costs and suggest optimisation measures.
• Schedule regular and preventive maintenance services.
• Coordinate transport of machinery to construction sites in collaboration with project managers.
• Prepare proposals for disposal and sale of vehicles and equipment.
• Analyse data from GPS/telematics systems and recommend fuel‑saving actions.
• Report to senior management on key performance indicators, costs and utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with the fleet administrator who handles operational records and documentation.

Required profile

• Higher education (SSS, VŠS or VSS) in traffic, technical, economic or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics or vehicle fleet administration.
• Experience in the construction sector is a strong advantage.
• Proven negotiation experience with suppliers, service providers and insurers.
• B‑category driver’s licence.
• Independent, proactive and results‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Experience with GPS/telematics systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle and machinery regulatory requirements.
