About the role

The Freshness Sector Manager will lead the daily operations of a selected product assortment in SPAR stores across Croatia. The role combines team leadership, inventory control, and customer‑focused service to ensure high standards of quality, hygiene and sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Organise work for a specific product assortment and ensure efficient, coordinated execution.
• Lead and supervise staff, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Prepare accurate and timely orders.
• Check displayed prices, expiry dates, quantities and product quality.
• Coordinate and monitor product sales during promotional campaigns.
• Achieve assigned business results and meet performance targets.
• Implement HACCP system requirements.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and advice to customers.

Required profile

• Secondary school education (SSS) or equivalent.
• Experience working in retail.
• Preferably experience in leading and managing staff.
• Good knowledge of the product assortment.
• Preferably basic computer skills.
• Reliability and neatness in task execution.
