About the role

The Senior Planning Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing production plans across short, medium and long horizons. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure optimal use of capacity and inventory while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑term, medium‑term and long‑term production plans.
• Analyze sales forecasts, demand trends and inventory movements.
• Monitor production capacity availability and line load.
• Propose and implement actions to optimise inventory and improve capacity utilisation.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Logistics.
• Prepare reports and analyses for business decisions.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving planning processes.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, procurement or supply‑chain functions.
• Preferably experience in FMCG, food or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and inventory management.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Pantheon.
• Familiarity with forecasting and planning tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI and basic database handling is a plus.
