About the role
We are looking for an Office Commercialist (m/f) to lead the food and beverage category for our trade and export‑import business in Split. The role combines product assortment management, supplier negotiations and marketing activities to achieve financial targets.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop the assigned food and beverage product category.
- Achieve planned financial goals through pricing, sales and margin control.
- Communicate daily with partners and suppliers, negotiate contracts and set sales prices.
- Plan and execute marketing actions and monitor market trends, competition and price movements.
- Analyse reports, make data‑driven decisions and oversee private‑label development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and conduct regular retail visits.
Required profile
- Higher education (SSS / VŠS / VSS).
- Minimum two years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid category B driving licence.
