About the role

The City of Zagreb is seeking an Administrative Advisor for Construction to support the Department of Construction within the Spatial Planning and Construction sector. The role involves providing expert advice on construction projects, ensuring compliance with spatial planning regulations, and contributing to the development of sustainable urban environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of construction documentation and permits.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet legal and technical standards.
• Monitor ongoing construction activities and provide guidance on regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management regarding spatial planning and construction matters.
• Participate in the development and improvement of internal procedures related to construction administration.

Required profile

• University degree (bachelor’s, integrated bachelor‑master, or professional master) in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in construction or spatial planning.
• Successful completion of the State Exam Level II, required for positions that demand a university graduate degree.
• Proficiency in using computer applications for documentation and data management.
