About the role

The Internal Auditor will join KentBank’s Internal Audit sector in Zagreb, working within a professional team that values high‑quality assessments and personal development. You will be responsible for evaluating the bank’s operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits of the entire banking business and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare audit reports in both Croatian and English.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Audit projects and participate in bank‑related initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of work programmes, tests and procedures.
• Track legal and regulatory changes affecting banking activities.
• Proactively suggest improvements to processes and controls for long‑term business results.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in economics or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role; banking experience is a plus.
• Strong organisational and structuring abilities.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with colleagues.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proficient use of a personal computer.
