About the role

The Electronics Repair Technician will work on diagnosing and fixing hardware faults in telecom terminal equipment such as routers, ONTs and set‑top boxes. The position is based in Zagreb and involves precise work on printed circuit boards using specialized tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed measurements and tests on electronic circuits to locate faulty components.
• Execute hardware repairs, including component removal and replacement on PCBs using soldering irons and hot‑air rework stations.
• Use a microscope‑camera system to ensure high precision when handling micro‑components.
• Conduct post‑repair verification through control measurements and visual inspection of solder joints.
• Record all repairs, material usage and component replacements in internal databases for traceability.

Required profile

• Advanced soldering skills with experience on classic irons and hot‑air stations.
• Proficiency with measurement equipment such as multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
• High concentration, patience and fine motor skills for work under a microscope.
• Basic computer literacy for administrative tracking of work orders.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and internal methods.
