About the role

Holobit d.o.o. is looking for a motivated Technical Support Technician / Service Engineer to join its IT team. You will be involved in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer equipment while providing first‑line technical assistance to customers both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure desktops, laptops, monitors and peripheral devices.
• Set up and maintain Linux desktop environments (Debian, Ubuntu) and keep software packages up to date.
• Perform basic hardware diagnostics, replace memory modules, power supplies and PCIe cards.
• Install and configure printers, scanners, POS printers, barcode readers and Orderman devices.
• Deploy Holobit applications on Linux, Windows and macOS platforms.
• Provide remote support via phone, email and tools such as AnyDesk.
• Configure basic network settings, Ethernet and Wi‑Fi connections.
• Travel to customer locations for equipment installation and field support.
• Set up applications on Android and iPhone devices.
• Assist senior team members with complex technical projects and new solution implementations.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to solve simple technical problems independently.
• Interest in Linux systems and IT infrastructure.
• Responsible, tidy and professional attitude toward customers.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work on‑site.
• Motivation to learn and develop professionally, both individually and within a team.
