Technical Engineer (m/f)

About the role

DEIF A/S is looking for a Technical Engineer to join its Global Service Organisation in Zagreb. You will act as the primary technical expert, supporting customers and partners on complex energy solutions that combine solar, wind, diesel and battery power.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert‑level technical support and troubleshooting for complex customer cases.
• Develop tools, processes and structures that enable global cooperation across service teams.
• Collaborate with Sales on pre‑sales and after‑sales activities.
• Deliver technical training for customers and internal DEIF staff.
• Perform service visits for commissioning, product replacement and on‑site troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Experience as a Service Engineer, Application Engineer or in a similar technical role.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively, take initiative and handle demanding service cases.

Required skills

• PLC programming.
• CODESYS (IEC 61131‑3, Structured Text).
• Familiarity with power‑management and protection devices.
