Technical Architect for Exhibit Development

About the role

The Technical Architect for Exhibit Development will turn innovative museum exhibit concepts into detailed technical documentation that supports production, installation, and global rollout across Museum of Illusions locations. You will work closely with R&D, design, engineering and quality teams to ensure every exhibit is technically feasible, safe and ready for mass deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings, construction documents and production‑ready design packages for museum exhibits.
• Translate conceptual ideas from the R&D team into manufacturable solutions.
• Prepare technical manuals, assembly instructions, specifications and installation guidelines in English.
• Define materials, fabrication methods, technical requirements and assembly details for a wide range of exhibit types.
• Identify technical risks, installation challenges, safety considerations and design constraints early in the development phase.
• Support standardisation of exhibits to ensure consistent implementation across all global locations.
• Provide technical support during prototyping, production, testing and installation as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related technical field.
• Fluent English (C1 level or higher).
• Experience in technical architecture, construction documentation or technical detailing.
• Strong understanding of construction details, materials, fabrication methods and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic R&D environment.
