About the role

The Occupational Safety Specialist (Level II) will support Pleter‑usluge d.o.o. in ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety and fire protection regulations across all company sites. The role involves planning, organizing, and supervising safety measures, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to management, authorized personnel and workers on occupational safety and fire protection.
• Plan, organize and monitor implementation of employer obligations under ZNR and ZOP.
• Conduct risk assessments and periodic reviews.
• Arrange medical examinations for employees in special working conditions.
• Develop and deliver safety and fire‑protection training.
• Prepare evacuation and rescue plans and participate in drills.
• Investigate work‑related injuries and occupational diseases.
• Maintain required safety documentation and records.
• Oversee environmental and equipment safety inspections.
• Report to the Head of the Safety Department and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• University degree in occupational safety, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar safety role.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
• Passed professional exam for Occupational Safety Level II (general and special parts).
• Passed Fire Safety professional exam.
