About the role

The Financial and Accounting Specialist is responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance activities within the company. This role ensures accurate bookkeeping, compliance with regulations, and timely financial reporting to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform commercial accounting, data entry, and processing of financial documents.
• Reconcile customer and supplier ledgers and manage IOS submissions.
• Work with the Maris ERP system for all accounting operations.
• Align material accounting with financial accounting and warehouse records.
• Prepare statutory periodic and annual financial statements and final accounts.
• Maintain tax records and liaise with public administration bodies.
• Generate reports on unpaid obligations, receivables, and credit exposures.
• Record fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and track small inventory movements.
• Monitor material costs by cost centre and ensure economic efficiency.
• Conduct financial inventories and record surplus, shortages, and returns.
• Manage loan, leasing, and repayment schedules.
• Prepare compensation, assignment, and cession documentation.
• Control credit limits and guarantee instruments.
• Retrieve bank statements, process e‑invoices, and execute payments.
• Support audit preparation and participate in business analysis.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Active knowledge of spoken and written English (preferred).
• Familiarity with the Maris ERP system (preferred).
• Valid category B driver’s licence.
• Proficient use of MS Office and general IT competence.
