About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accounting Associate to join our accounting team in Donji Miholjac. The role involves maintaining the general ledger, preparing core financial statements, and supporting management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record all financial transactions, including expenses, revenues, and payments.
• Prepare basic financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports for management (e.g., accounts payable status, customer balances, insurance positions).
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all entries and reconcile accounting records.
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits and provide support during audit activities.
• Monitor and reconcile balances between customers, suppliers, and internal records.
• Identify potential discrepancies in financial data and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other members of the accounting team on tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Active knowledge of at least one foreign language.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
