About the role

The Civil Aviation Agency is seeking two specialists to manage flight approvals. The role involves handling administrative and regulatory procedures for both scheduled and occasional international air services operating in Croatian airspace.

Key responsibilities

• Perform professional and administrative tasks within the Flight Approval Department.
• Lead administrative procedures and draft decisions for assigned cases.
• Issue approvals for occasional air transport by foreign carriers and handle diplomatic flight permits.
• Prepare documents, reports, and other technical materials related to flight approvals.
• Process approvals for foreign airlines in scheduled and occasional traffic, including consultations with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Croatian carriers.
• Manage approvals for flights carrying dangerous goods and for aircraft lacking standard navigation certificates.
• Handle noise exemption requests for subsonic jet aircraft.
• Monitor updates to EU operator restriction lists and apply them in the approval process.
• Propose procedural revisions and address identified deficiencies.

Required profile

• Male or female candidates with a background in civil aviation regulations.
• Ability to prepare and review legal and technical documentation.
• Experience in administrative procedures related to air transport licensing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with governmental bodies.
