About the role

Holcim Croatia is seeking a proactive Legal Specialist to support all legal matters across the company. You will provide legal advice, draft contracts and opinions, and ensure compliance with Croatian and EU regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on commercial, labour, competition, data protection and other areas of law.
• Monitor legislative changes and inform internal stakeholders for timely implementation.
• Support corporate governance activities, including board meetings, shareholder assemblies and statutory filings.
• Participate in acquisition, divestiture and capital‑raising projects, conducting due diligence and preparing legal documentation.
• Coordinate litigation matters and liaise with external counsel.
• Assist in ethics and compliance programs, including training, internal investigations and reporting.

Required profile

• Law degree (Master of Law) with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a corporation or law firm.
• Highly motivated, independent and proactive with strong personal integrity.
• Team player with excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
