About the role
The Consolidation Specialist will be responsible for preparing and presenting both consolidated and non‑consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations. You will work closely with related entities, external auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and support strategic financial planning.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accounting documentation for annual consolidated and non‑consolidated reports.
- Draft consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and Croatian regulations.
- Analyze financial data of affiliated companies and perform inter‑company eliminations.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Optimize reporting processes and improve internal controls for consolidation.
- Produce monthly and year‑end reports for related entities.
- Prepare notes to the financial statements.
- Compile statutory reports for the Financial Agency, Tax Administration, State Statistics Office, and the Croatian National Bank.
- Record lease accounting in line with IFRS 16, including contract analysis and impact calculation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit cycle.
- Provide consolidation support to subsidiary companies.
- Generate ad‑hoc management reports for the Board.
- Collaborate with all affiliated entities and internal departments.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial consolidation or reporting.
- Excellent command of English.
- High level of initiative and self‑motivation.
- Team‑oriented with strong professional responsibility.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- Strong analytical, presentation and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
