Specijalist logistike – kontejnerski transport

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, responsible and organized Logistics Specialist to manage international container transport. The role involves coordinating shipments from container reservation to final delivery while maintaining daily communication with ship owners, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers and other business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate international container shipments.
• Track shipments from reservation to delivery, monitoring ETD/ETA and vessel schedules.
• Communicate with ship owners, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers and customers.
• Reserve containers and schedule loading/unloading times.
• Prepare, control and monitor transport and export documentation (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.).
• Coordinate customs procedures with freight forwarders.
• Monitor transport costs and resolve issues related to shipments, documentation and deliveries.
• Maintain records of active and completed shipments.
• Produce weekly reports on orders, arrivals, key deliveries, inventory and open issues.

Required profile

• Higher education (SSS/VŠS/VSS) preferably in maritime, traffic, logistics, economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in container transport or international logistics.
• Proven experience working with ship owners, freight forwarders and international transport documentation.
• Strong knowledge of maritime and container transport processes.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for daily business communication.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Independent, responsible and precise.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments, partners and deadlines simultaneously.
