Site Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

The Site Manager will lead and coordinate all on‑site activities for construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality standards. You will act as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, and internal teams, driving efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise site activities to guarantee safe work, on‑time delivery, and compliance with quality standards.
• Manage daily communication with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client.
• Synchronise civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines for smooth project flow.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and report status to the Project Manager.
• Ensure works comply with documentation, technical specifications, contracts, and regulations.
• Participate in technical and client meetings, preparing reports and documentation as needed.
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries, inspections, testing, and hand‑over activities.
• Control quality, manage non‑conformities, and enforce environmental, health, and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant construction or similar infrastructure projects (preferred).
• Professional proficiency in Croatian and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving licence and willingness to work on construction sites.
• Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, reliable, independent, and motivated for continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
