Site Manager – Industrial Crane Projects

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Site Manager to lead industrial crane installations for Konecranes across Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. Based in Zagreb, you will oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from start‑up through commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end execution of bridge, jib, monorail and hoist installations, including retrofits and smart‑crane missions.
• Coordinate site operations, attend kick‑off meetings, organise materials, mobile cranes and platforms, and align work with project plans and HSE standards.
• Lead technicians and subcontractors, conduct site audits, and ensure performance and regulatory compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols, perform risk assessments and maintain incident logs.
• Act as primary client interface, resolve issues promptly and support claim handling.
• Prepare and update site records, progress reports and documentation.
• Assist with hands‑on installation tasks when workload permits.

Required profile

• Technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in industrial crane installation or comparable heavy‑equipment projects.
• Fluent English and native Croatian, with willingness to travel across the three countries.
• Valid Group B driving licence.
