About the role

The System Engineer for technical protection systems will lead the commissioning of medium‑ and large‑scale security solutions, coordinate with project managers and field technicians, and ensure smooth hand‑over to customers. The role also includes remote maintenance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to both field staff and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Commission servers, databases, client applications and integrations for technical protection systems.
• Provide second‑line support to field technicians, both remotely and on‑site when required.
• Maintain and monitor installed systems at customer sites.
• Document configurations, hand‑overs and project deliverables.
• Participate in technical project preparation, checking feasibility, version compatibility and integration aspects.
• Test new releases and devices in the internal laboratory before field deployment.
• Track vendor upgrades and security recommendations, planning updates for customers.
• Prepare technical instructions, conduct internal trainings and user hand‑over sessions.

Required profile

• Technical or IT secondary/tertiary education (SSS/VŠS/VSS).
• Several years of experience with technical protection systems and commissioning of medium‑size projects.
• Strong understanding of basic IT concepts such as IP addressing, ports, networking, Windows environment and SQL databases.
• Ability to independently diagnose issues by reading logs and isolating problems.
• Preferably experience with enterprise access‑control solutions, PSIM or integration platforms, and relevant manufacturer certifications.
• Professional working knowledge of English (written and spoken) and a valid B‑category driving licence.
