About the role

The Desktop Infrastructure System Engineer will be responsible for testing, implementing and maintaining software and hardware solutions that support the bank’s IT environment. You will work with Microsoft‑based desktop and virtual desktop technologies, collaborate with external partners, and help optimise the end‑user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Test, implement and maintain new and existing software and hardware solutions for the bank’s IT system.
• Deploy, test and support Microsoft desktop and virtual desktop platforms on employee workstations.
• Utilise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity.
• Guide and coordinate external partners providing assistance to bank staff.
• Participate in projects that introduce new IT solutions across the bank and its group entities.
• Interact directly with end‑users, gather requirements, analyse results and propose optimisations.
• Monitor emerging technologies and continuously acquire new knowledge.
• Coordinate with other organisational units and project teams, providing regular status reports.
• Organise and systematise project documentation, work processes and user instructions.
• Create technical documentation and user guides, and maintain activity logs.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education; preferably a technical higher‑education degree (e.g., VVG, FOI, FESB, PMF, Algebra, TVZ or similar).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Microsoft desktop and virtual desktop technologies.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Knowledge of core network protocols.
• Microsoft certifications (preferred).
