Ship Repair Piping Technologist / Engineer

About the role

This position covers the technical coordination of piping work on ship repair projects. The role involves preparing and analysing technical documentation, planning and supervising piping installation and dismantling, and keeping project progress under control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and coordinate technical documentation for ship repair and piping projects
• Plan and supervise piping installation and dismantling processes
• Prepare work tasks and ensure compliance with technical requirements
• Calculate material quantities and project cost estimates
• Coordinate work with project managers, subcontractors and clients
• Monitor project progress and prepare related documentation

Required profile

• Engineering or technical education
• Experience in ship repair, piping or steel structure projects
• Ability to read technical drawings and isometric diagrams
• Good spoken and written English
• Organised, responsible and able to plan working time effectively
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
