Service Engineer – Electrical/Electronics/Automation

About the role

CAPAX d.o.o. is looking for a motivated Service Engineer specialized in electrical, electronics and automation systems. The role involves troubleshooting, installing and maintaining a variety of electrical machines and electronic devices both on board ships and in the workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic equipment.
• Install, test and repair various electrical machines.
• Install, service and test electronic circuits and devices on vessels and in the workshop.

Required profile

• Higher education (VŠS/VSS) in a related field.
• Strong focus on quality and ability to work well with people.
• Good communication skills and experience with domestic and foreign clients.
• Willingness to learn, positive "can‑do" attitude and readiness to travel.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ship‑related electrical and automation systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Holding certifications from equipment manufacturers is a plus.
