Senior Supervisor in Publishing Supervision Directorate

About the role

The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) is seeking a Senior Supervisor for its Publishing Supervision Directorate. The role involves overseeing regulatory compliance, drafting and reviewing supervisory documents, and coordinating inspections of publishing entities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor regulations and best practices, propose and participate in rulemaking.
• Coordinate, draft, verify, and validate supervisory documents and reports.
• Assess the impact of inspections and recommend appropriate actions.
• Analyze the effect of normative changes on supervised entities.
• Propose special and thematic inspections, develop indicators and data‑collection models.
• Control delivery of reports, notifications and compliance obligations.
• Suggest risk‑reduction measures for supervised entities.
• Evaluate legality and risk of business activities and advise on actions.
• Independently handle complex tasks, identify and resolve operational problems.
• Prepare minutes, analyses, proposals and other supervisory documentation.
• Monitor implementation of issued measures and inspection outcomes.
• Participate in licensing committees, ESMA working groups and other institutional boards.

Required profile

• Completed university bachelor’s and master’s studies (or integrated degree) with at least 300 ECTS points.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience after obtaining the degree.
• Active knowledge of English.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Passed the State Exam Level II (candidates without it may be hired conditionally).
