About the role

Hotel Garden Hill in Velika Gorica is looking for a responsible and independent accountant to manage the hotel's accounting and financial tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage the full accounting cycle.
• Post incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements and cash transactions.
• Process payroll and other employee payments.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, JOPPD forms and other statutory reports.
• Monitor obligations to suppliers and receivables from customers.
• Reconcile ledgers and prepare documentation for the year‑end financial statements.
• Produce internal financial reports for management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legal and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Responsible and autonomous work style.
• Experience in hotel or similar accounting environments preferred.

Required skills

• Accounting software proficiency.
• Knowledge of payroll processing.
• Understanding of VAT and statutory reporting.
• Ability to prepare financial statements.
