Sales Manager Croatia (m/f)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our commercial team in Croatia. The role focuses on driving growth, managing trade programs and ensuring profitable performance across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve team targets, monitor execution and deliver results in the Croatian market.
• Uphold company ethics and standards, manage trade programs, merchandising and brand communication with a focus on ROI.
• Allocate and control trade program budgets as defined by the Country Manager.
• Provide accurate and timely business reporting to identify opportunities, forecast obstacles and propose corrective actions.
• Build mutually beneficial trade relationships within each channel to meet objectives.
• Contribute strategically to commercial planning across categories and ensure cross‑category synergy.
• Monitor compliance with company operating standards and assets.
• Lead, coach and develop the sales team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with local and international functions to ensure harmonious cross‑functional synergy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales and people‑management experience.
• Fluent in Croatian and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven leadership in FMCG or fast‑paced commercial environments.
• Experience in field operations, distribution management and trade execution.
• Track record of managing commercial budgets, KPIs and business plans.
• High integrity, resilience, accountability and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Croatia, including overnight stays.
