Risk Manager – Banking & Capital Requirements

About the role
The Risk Manager will support Raiffeisenbank Austria in Zagreb by calculating regulatory and internal capital requirements, contributing to the ICAAP process and preparing key regulatory reports, including ESG risk components. You will work closely with senior management and various committees to ensure robust risk oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate regulatory and internal capital requirements and prepare ICAAP‑related documentation.
- Produce risk, capital and integrated risk‑management reports for senior management and board committees.
- Validate and analyse data to guarantee accuracy and quality.
- Define market‑driven scenarios, conduct stress‑testing calculations and support recovery‑plan development.
- Monitor, budget and track capital requirements and regulatory capital compliance.
- Implement relevant laws and group directives concerning integrated risk management, credit‑risk capital calculations and recovery plans.
Required profile
- University degree (300 ECTS) in economics, mathematics or a technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant banking or risk‑management experience.
- Strong command of English and advanced proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Good knowledge of banking products, processes and regulatory frameworks for credit‑risk capital, regulatory capital and recovery plans.
- Experience working with databases (SQL).
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.
