About the role

The company is looking for a motivated accountant to join its finance team in Zagreb. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information to clients and supporting internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and summarise financial data for clients.
• Provide timely and accurate advice and solutions based on client needs.
• Support and supervise junior accountants on a daily basis.
• Prepare monthly accounting closures and monitor gross balances.
• Process payroll and prepare statutory reports.
• Compile final accounts and produce financial reports for management and owners.
• Stay up‑to‑date with accounting and finance legislation.

Required profile

• Completed higher education in economics, finance or accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of monthly and yearly accounting processes.
• Ability to delegate tasks and work under pressure.
• High motivation, dedication and strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to pursue continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Pantheon ERP (preferred).
