Project Engineering CSA Engineer – Data Centers & Telecom

About the role

Vertiv is looking for a Project Engineering CSA Engineer to join its Zagreb team. You will design and develop modular buildings for data‑center and telecom projects, ensuring the highest technical standards and constructability.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate with the design team to create construction documentation (CD) sets.
• Prepare bills of quantity for module equipping in the Rugvica factory.
• Design and order secondary steel structures such as girders, platforms, bases and roof elements.
• Order installation material and prepare manufacturing documentation.
• Provide engineering supervision during steel‑structure production and module assembly.
• Review design content and constructability, delivering feedback to the design team.
• Collaborate with project management, sourcing, quality control, manufacturing, testing and construction teams to define and execute deployment strategies.
• Manage construction administration activities, including as‑built documentation, FAT procedures, installation manuals and punch‑list items.
• Specify bills of material and services required for project execution, and support post‑delivery customer needs.
• Contribute to pre‑sales activities by sharing technical expertise in quotations and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (process & energy, thermotechnics, modelling & simulations).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Proficient user of Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong modelling skills with Autodesk AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Analytical, organized and meticulous work style.
• English language proficiency at least B2 level.
