Production Planning Assistant (m/f) – AutoCAD & CNC Programming

About the role

Formator, a manufacturer of safety glass since 2003 (glass fences, doors, shower cabins, building and shipbuilding glass), is looking for a production planning assistant in Kukuljanovo near Rijeka. The role covers technical preparation of production orders, cutting optimisation and CNC programming, within a team of 70 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Open work orders and define technical production conditions, checking whether each order can be produced
• Draw production drawings using AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator
• Optimise cutting layouts
• Create CNC machine programmes
• Plan product packaging and other tasks of technical preparation and production planning

Required profile

• At least secondary school education (minimalno VŠS)
• At least 2 years of work experience
• Advanced use of technical drawing and graphics software (AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator)
• Active use of AI and other digital tools such as Google Workspace
• English at least at B2 level
• Team player who enjoys precision and quality control
• An engineering background is preferred
