Product Delivery Engineer

About the role

The Product Delivery Engineer will support aftermarket projects for maritime power systems, ensuring successful retrofits, upgrades and delivery of spare parts. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work across the GCS division to meet customer expectations and comply with marine regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retrofit and modernization projects, coordinating product upgrades, breaker and protection relay replacements.
• Provide technical engineering support by reviewing existing installations, defining upgrade solutions and preparing detailed documentation.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers, participating in meetings, handling queries and supporting sales teams.
• Collaborate closely with service engineers, project managers, product managers, design engineering, manufacturing, procurement and field service teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Experience with LV/MV switchboards, drives, energy storage, rotating machinery and marine electrical systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of marine regulations and class requirements is a plus.
• Practical commissioning and testing experience (IAT/FAT/SAT) is advantageous.

Required skills

• Electrical design tools: AutoCAD, EPLAN.
• Protection philosophy and system interface knowledge.
• Automation and control system understanding, including B&R software navigation.
• Ability to create technical procedures, drawings, specifications and test documentation.
