About the role

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Sales Associate for the Bakery department at our Kaufland store in Zagreb. You will be the first smile customers see, ensuring a fast and pleasant checkout experience while supporting them throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming presence at the cash register and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep shelves fully stocked, products attractively displayed and correctly labeled.
• Monitor freshness and expiration dates, especially for fruit, vegetables and bakery items.
• Ensure the sales area is clean, tidy and meets company standards.
• Assist with receiving goods and support colleagues across other departments.

Required profile

• Motivation to work; secondary school education (SSS) is required.
• Friendly, approachable communication style and enjoyment of helping customers.
• Proactive and detail‑oriented, from accurate pricing to neat shelving.
• Reliable team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Comfortable with shift work, including weekends.
