About the role

This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience in a modern microbiology laboratory within the pharmaceutical industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced mentors, applying GMP standards while supporting quality‑control activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, pharmaceutical products, water and environmental samples following established procedures.
• Assist in preparing culture media, reagents and laboratory equipment for testing.
• Enter and process analytical results in laboratory information and IT systems.
• Support qualification, calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain and update documentation in line with GMP requirements and internal procedures.
• Apply GMP guidelines, laboratory procedures and quality system requirements daily.
• Participate in deviation investigations and corrective actions with mentor support.
• Collaborate with team members and other units to ensure timely laboratory activities.
• Engage in training sessions and acquire knowledge in microbiological quality control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of microbiological laboratory techniques acquired through studies or internships (preferred).
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and laboratory environments (preferred).
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Responsible, precise and organized work approach.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Motivation for learning, professional development and acquiring new knowledge.
• Proactive, analytical mindset and interest in the pharmaceutical sector.
