About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join the team at La Forcheta restaurant in Split. The successful candidate will support the kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and contributing to the preparation of main dishes and desserts. This position requires at least two years of experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area and equipment according to strict hygiene standards.
• Assist in the preparation of main courses and the creation of desserts.
• Collaborate closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as an assistant cook or similar position.
• Strong inclination for teamwork and a professional attitude.
• Neat, meticulous, and creative approach to kitchen tasks.

Required skills

• Food preparation for main dishes.
• Dessert preparation.
• Kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
