About the role

The Assistant Cook supports daily kitchen operations in a restaurant environment, helping to maintain cleanliness, prepare simple dishes, and ensure food safety. Candidates with basic pizza‑baking knowledge are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hygiene of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of simple meals, salads, and side dishes under the chef’s guidance.
• Manage storage of unused ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and labeling.
• Handle waste disposal in an environmentally friendly manner while following personal hygiene rules.
• Observe and comply with all hygiene standards and workplace safety measures.

Required profile

• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Required skills

• Basic pizza baking knowledge.
