Network Engineer (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team in Buzin, Zagreb. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi and SD‑WAN environments with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Manage network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Aruba.
• Implement and monitor security policies, firewalls, IDS/IPS and other network security controls.
• Optimize network architecture for high availability and performance.
• Proactively monitor the global network using tools like Zabbix, PRTG and Splunk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents promptly.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to streamline operations.
• Prepare technical documentation and support digital transformation projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, ACLs and network security.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiarity with SD‑WAN, IDS/IPS and redundant network designs.
• Experience with enterprise Wi‑Fi and Azure cloud networking.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
