Mid-level Project Electrical Engineer

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a Mid-level Project Electrical Engineer to join its dynamic team in Zagreb. You will work on modular building projects for data centers and telecom, ensuring electrical designs meet the highest standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate with the design team to develop construction documentation (CD) sets.
• Select low‑level equipment such as distribution panels, UPS systems and batteries.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and bills of quantity for factory execution.
• Create Bills of Materials, order installation material and non‑critical equipment.
• Provide engineering supervision and support during module assembly at the Rugvica factory.
• Support service teams and subcontractors with technical expertise.
• Review design content and constructability, delivering feedback to the design community.
• Collaborate with local service and operations teams to define deployment strategies and execute projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Effective teamwork, communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ethics, integrity and a sense of urgency.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• AutoCAD.
• Modeling tools – preferably Revit and EPLAN.
