About the role

The Legal and Regulatory Affairs Manager will provide comprehensive legal support to all business functions of Zagrebačka pivovara, ensuring compliance with Croatian and EU legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role involves advising internal stakeholders, managing contracts and representing the company with authorities and industry bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across commercial, contract, labour, administrative, corporate, competition and intellectual property law.
• Draft, review and analyse contracts, legal documents and maintain legal databases.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at national and EU level and assess business impact.
• Manage court and out‑of‑court proceedings and coordinate with external law firms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulators and industry associations.
• Support ethics and compliance programmes, including training, internal investigations and data protection matters.
• Participate in risk management and crisis response activities.
• Collaborate with local and international legal and regulatory teams.

Required profile

• Law degree with at least five years of experience in corporate or law‑firm settings, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, contract, labour, administrative, competition and IP law.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with familiarity of legal terminology.
• Proven ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
• Experience interacting with government bodies and regulators is an advantage.
