Marketing Manager – Central & Eastern Europe (m/f)

About the role

ExCEEd Orphan is seeking a Marketing Manager for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region to lead marketing activities focused on rare diseases and specialty therapies. You will translate regional commercial priorities into actionable marketing plans, collaborate with country managers, medical affairs and market access teams, and support the responsible introduction of therapies across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop regional brand and marketing plans in partnership with the CCO and local teams.
• Adapt campaigns and materials to local market needs, languages and regulatory requirements.
• Support product launches, including market preparation, positioning and creation of launch materials.
• Coordinate congress participation, educational events and digital marketing activities.
• Work with Medical Affairs and review teams to ensure compliance and accuracy of all materials.
• Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform priorities and improve activities.
• Manage marketing budgets, agencies and external suppliers.
• Define campaign objectives, track results and share best practices across countries.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, preferably in rare diseases or specialty care.
• Proven ability to work across multiple CEE markets and deliver brand plans and campaigns.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical promotional regulations and medical review processes.
• Strong project‑management skills with experience managing budgets and competing priorities.
• Fluent in English; additional CEE languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
• Relevant degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, marketing, business or a related field.
