About the role

We are looking for a diligent Quality Controller for fruit and vegetables to join our purchasing centre in Varaždin. You will ensure that all raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products meet the highest food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, semi‑finished and finished fruit and vegetable products for compliance with HACCP, Global GAP and legal requirements.
• Record quality data, report non‑conformities and submit regular reports to the Quality Technologist and Team Leader.
• Collaborate closely with quality technologists, warehouse staff and production teams to maintain consistent quality control.
• Monitor and document hygiene conditions in production and storage areas.
• Determine proper storage instructions and supervise storage conditions in cold rooms.
• Take samples for laboratory analysis and track results to ensure product safety.
• Enter data into the Jupiter information system and maintain corrective‑action records.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma in agronomy or food‑technology.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Good knowledge of English.
• Proactive, systematic and able to work well in a team.
